"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." MLK
Trying to channel MLK because the quiet and shy are often misinterpreted.
Change and improvement does not equate to ease and comfort. I am almost embarrassed when admitting that I have trouble speaking up in general, when people like Martin Luther King exist in the world, who speak up not only for themselves, but for the hundreds and thousands of voiceless in the world.....and this gives me hope and strength.
Whatever it is that you care about, use your voice. Whether one person hears you, or one hundred people hear you, or one million people hear you, what you say matters. Be the example you want to see. Spread love, not hate.
